Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Shawn Boisvert was called to the ministry of First Baptist Church of
Sanbornton in 2022. He is a devoted servant of Jesus Christ with a deep passion
for sharing the Gospel and guiding others into a life-changing relationship with
God.

Pastor Shawn is known for his heart for people, biblical teaching, and commitment
to building a Christ-centered Church and Community that reflects God’s love and
grace. He believes in the transforming power of God’s word and seeks to equip
believers to live out their faith in everyday life.


Beyond the pulpit, he enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle,
swimming, sports, and fellowshipping with other believers. He and his wife
Michelle have been married for 34 years and are blessed with three sons, a
granddaughter and grandson.


His life verse is from (Philippians 4:13), “I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me.” His favorite verse is from (Galatians 2:20), “I have been crucified
with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave
Himself for me.”
